As someone who usually gets nervous during crowd work, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. He kept everyone laughing and made the whole room feel fun without ever making it awkward

Overall, I had a good time watching it. The delivery was solid, and from the tone, I got the feeling they were going for something playful and easygoing. A few moments felt slightly off timing-wise, but it was still fun.

The show itself was fine, but the venue made it hard to enjoy. It felt really cramped, the seats weren’t comfortable, and the sound kept echoing in a way that got distracting. If you’re planning to go, I’d recommend checking where your seats are first or maybe bringing a little patience with you. For me, it just wasn’t worth the hassle

The show itself was really funny, and we had a good time once we got there. The problem was the date got changed at the last minute, so it threw off the plans we already had. Because of that, the whole experience ended up being more stressful than it needed to be.

I’ve been watching John Crist’s clips for a while now, usually when I’m eating lunch or avoiding folding laundry, and I finally spent some time on his site. It was super easy to use, which I appreciated because I’m not trying to fight with a website just to watch comedy. The jokes genuinely made me laugh, but they didn’t go gross or mean, which is harder to find than it should be. It’s the kind of clean humor I can send to my family without wondering if I’ll regret it five minutes later. I laughed more than I expected and would definitely come back again

The shirt is actually nice, it feels soft, the print looks good, and it’s not too thick or heavy. I did feel a bit pressured to grab it at the time, but overall I’m not mad about it. The quality is solid.

I had a really great time at the show. From the tone of the performers, you could just tell everyone was having fun, and I’m assuming that’s why the whole room felt so relaxed. I pretty much laughed the entire way through.

I was able to find the tour info eventually, so the site does work, but it definitely wasn’t as easy or smooth as advertised. Pages took a while to load for me, and the menu felt kind of all over the place. They make it seem like everything will be quick and simple, but in reality I spent more time clicking around than I expected.

I like some of the stuff on John Crist Comedy, but the merch prices surprised me. A shirt or hoodie shouldn’t feel like a big decision, and right now it kind of does. I get that merch isn’t free to make, but for what it is, it feels a little too high. I also felt a bit dismissed, like the pricing assumes fans will just pay whatever because they like the comedy. I’d probably consider buying if there was a sale, but not at the current prices

I don’t usually trust all the customer service-style hype around performers, because it’s always made to sound better than it is, but John really surprised me. His jokes felt fresh and original, not like the same recycled bits every other comic is doing

I laughed at a decent amount of it, so it definitely has some funny moments. But then other parts just didn’t really land for me, or maybe it just wasn’t my kind of humor. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain, some bits were great, then it would suddenly feel kind of uneven. Overall, entertaining enough, just not totally my style...

Support got back to me fast, which I appreciated. Umm, I do wish the follow-up had been a little clearer, but overall it was okay.

I checked out johncristcomedy.com thinking it would have more solid faith-based comedy, but it was a bit disappointing. Some of the jokes did make me laugh, but a lot of it felt like basic church humor without much substance behind it. A few parts also didn’t feel as clean as I expected, which was frustrating. I’m sure some people enjoy it, and that’s fine, but for me it just didn’t really land.

I went to a John Crist show and the check-in process was okay, just a little slower than I thought it would be. The staff were polite enough, but at first it wasn’t super obvious where we were supposed to go, and the line kind of dragged along.
Once we finally got inside, everything was fine and there weren’t any major issues. It just felt a bit unorganized for the crowd size, and I felt more like a ticket number being shuffled through than an actual guest. Not awful, not amazing, just average overall.

Maybe it’s just me, but buying tickets felt way more annoying than it needed to be. The site was acting strange at checkout, pages were loading really slowly, and I couldn’t even tell if my order had actually gone through. I eventually got through it, but the whole thing was frustrating for something that should’ve been simple.

I went mainly because I like John Crist, but the opening acts were rough. Their sets felt way too long, the jokes didn’t really land, and at times it felt like they were just filling space before the main show started. The crowd around me was quiet too, so it wasn’t just me sitting there awkwardly. By the time John finally came out, I was already irritated, which took away from the experience. I really think the organizers need to take some responsibility for the pacing of the show and either book stronger openers or keep those sets much shorter.
